This project of Polly's was the lead up project to her Final Major Project in her final year at university and a part of her research and development sector of her course. The project focuses upon the damaging insight plastic pollution and plastic waste has upon the environment. Here Polly has taken old and non recyclable plastics and transformed them into emotive, beautiful, playful and empowering woven textiles. The message of how damaging single use waste plastics are, is clear throughout. The project promotes how key recycling.
